Terms of Use

1. App licence

You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Shake & Scream on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and applicable App Store rules. Ownership of the app, characters, designs, sounds, code, branding, and supplied content does not transfer to you.

2. Safety and acceptable use

Use the app with awareness of your surroundings. Do not throw or strike a phone, perform movements that may injure someone or damage property, use the app while driving, or play sounds at an unsafe volume.

You must not extract or redistribute supplied sound assets, bypass purchase controls, interfere with the service, use the app to harass or threaten others, invade another person's privacy, or use the app unlawfully.

3. Recordings and custom mixes

You retain rights you already have in your recordings. You are responsible for having permission to record, use, or share voices and other content. Do not record or share another person without any consent required by law.

4. Sounds and mature language

Some optional packs may contain profanity, loud sounds, or chaotic humour and may be hidden behind a content notice. Shake & Scream is not in the Kids Category. Do not use sounds where they create danger, harassment, or serious disruption.

5. Energy purchases

Selected premium reactions use Energy. Available Energy packages, localised prices, currency, taxes, and product details are displayed by the App Store before confirmation. Energy has no cash value, is not transferable, cannot be sold, and cannot be used outside the app.

Unused purchased Energy is forfeited when the associated commerce account is deleted. Account deletion does not automatically create a refund. Apple and applicable consumer law separately govern refund eligibility.

6. Pro subscriptions

While Shake & Scream Pro is active, designated premium reactions do not deduct Energy. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple before renewal. Apple displays the current price and billing period and handles billing, cancellation, refund requests, and subscription management.

7. Accounts, restoration, and deletion

A commerce account may be required for purchases, restoration, subscriptions, or balance protection. Deleting a Shake & Scream account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Eligible active Pro access may be restored through Restore Purchases, but deleted Energy and other deleted account data are not restored.

Local recordings, custom mixes, and preferences remain on the current iPhone by default during commerce-account deletion unless you separately choose to erase local data.

8. Availability and changes

We may update, replace, suspend, or remove features, sound packs, or commerce systems for quality, rights, technical, security, or legal reasons. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation or perfect motion recognition on every device. Mandatory warranties, consumer guarantees, remedies, and jurisdiction rights that apply where you live take priority over inconsistent limitations.
