Delete your account
You can permanently delete a commerce account from inside Shake & Scream: Naughty Pear. You do not need an account to use free local features.
Before you delete
- Unused purchased Energy is permanently forfeited.
- Deleting the account does not automatically refund purchases.
- Deleting the account does not cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription.
- Local recordings and custom mixes stay on this device by default.
Delete inside the app
- Open Shake & Scream and go to Play.
- Open Energy, then choose Account & deletion.
- Choose Delete account and review the consequences.
- Choose whether local recordings and custom mixes should also be erased.
- Confirm deletion and verify with Apple on iOS or Google on Android.
- Keep the app open until it shows that deletion is complete.
What deletion removes
The service deletes or irreversibly de-identifies the commerce profile, Energy balance, active Energy leases, installation links, and app-side login identities. We also request deletion of the associated RevenueCat customer profile. Narrow transaction-integrity records may remain where reasonably required for refunds, accounting, fraud prevention, security, legal duties, or disputes.
Linked Apple and Google sign-ins
If both sign-ins are linked to your account, deletion removes the entire app account, not just the sign-in used on this device. The app revokes the provider you verify with. Where the other provider cannot be revoked automatically, the completion screen explains how to disconnect it in your Apple account or Google account connections. This remaining provider-side step does not delay deletion of your app data.
Subscriptions and refunds are separate
Use Apple subscription management to change or cancel Pro. Request an App Store refund through Report a Problem or Apple Support.
On Android, use Google Play subscriptions to change or cancel Pro. For Google Play refunds, follow Google Play's refund instructions.
If you cannot access the app
Email support@shakeandscream.app with the subject “Delete my Shake & Scream account.” Include the Apple relay or Google email address used for the account if available, and say whether you want the full account deleted or have another data-deletion request. You do not need to reinstall the app. We may verify account ownership before processing the request. Never send passwords, payment-card details, private keys, or recovery secrets.
