Privacy Policy

1. Scope and operator

This policy applies to the Shake & Scream iOS app, this website, commerce-account services, and support communications. Shake & Scream is operated by the developer identified on its App Store listing. Privacy questions may be sent to support@shakeandscream.app.

2. Local motion, recordings, and mixes

You can use the free motion, sound, recording, and custom-mix features without creating an account. Motion signals used to recognise tilts, shakes, twists, flips, impacts, and stillness are processed on your device. We do not upload those motion signals to our servers.

Recordings, custom mixes, selected packs, language, and app preferences are stored locally on your iPhone. We do not automatically upload your recordings or custom mixes. Content you deliberately share through Apple's share sheet is sent to the destination you choose.

3. Commerce accounts and purchases

A commerce account is requested only when needed for purchases, restoration, subscriptions, or protection of an Energy balance. Sign in with Apple may provide an account identifier and an email address, including an Apple relay address.

Apple processes payment details. RevenueCat and Supabase may process limited account, installation, product, transaction, entitlement, subscription, refund, Energy-ledger, and security information needed to deliver and restore purchases. We do not receive your complete payment-card number.

4. How information is used

We use limited information to provide app functions, validate and restore purchases, maintain Energy balances, prevent duplicate credit or fraud, secure the service, process account deletion, answer support and privacy requests, and meet legal, accounting, and App Store obligations.

We do not sell personal information, show third-party advertising, or use purchase information to track you across other companies' apps or websites. The current version does not include a general analytics SDK.

5. Providers and international processing

Shake & Scream uses Apple App Store and Sign in with Apple, RevenueCat, Supabase, and Cloudflare. These providers may process limited information outside your country under their own terms or on our behalf. Provider infrastructure may create ordinary security and operational logs.

6. Retention and security

Local recordings and mixes remain until you delete them, erase local data, delete the app, or iOS removes app data. Commerce records are kept only as reasonably needed for entitlement integrity, refunds, accounting, fraud prevention, security, legal duties, and dispute handling, then deleted or de-identified where appropriate.

We use HTTPS, access controls, server-side purchase validation, signed webhook checks, and other reasonable safeguards. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

7. Your choices and requests

You can delete local recordings and mixes inside the app. Commerce account holders can request account deletion inside Shake & Scream. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information.

Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription. Eligible active Pro access may be restored on a new commerce account, but deleted Energy and other deleted account data are not restored. Details are available on the Delete account page.

8. Children

Shake & Scream is not designed for children and is not offered in the Kids Category. Contact us if you believe a child sent personal information to support so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

9. Policy updates

We may update this policy when app features, providers, or legal duties change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
